Contact Artifactr

Every message sent through this page reaches the editor-in-chief. Corrections are read first and acted on fastest, because a wrong number on a page people make release decisions from is the most urgent thing we deal with.

In short
  • Corrections are prioritised above everything else. Include the page and the specific claim and we will verify it against the source.
  • We do not accept review codes, press accounts or pre-release access, so vendor offers of those will get a polite decline.
  • There is no mailing list here, so writing to us does not sign you up for anything.

Contact Artifactr using the form below. Every message reaches the editor-in-chief, and corrections are read first.

What to include

For a correction, give us the page URL and the specific claim. We check it against the original source, and if you are right the page is corrected with a date on the change. This is the queue we clear first.

For a question about a benchmark, tell us which one. The methodology page documents the corpus, the platforms and the pass criteria, and it often answers the question faster than we can.

If you are a vendor, you are welcome to tell us a product exists. What we cannot do is accept a review code, a press account or pre-release access, or agree to cover something in exchange for anything — our editorial policy explains why we buy everything at retail instead.

What we will not do

We do not publish guest posts, sponsored articles or paid links, and we do not add links to existing articles in exchange for anything. Those requests are declined without exception, so a pitch for one is a wasted email on both sides.

Nothing sent here is added to a mailing list, because we do not run one. What happens to your message is set out in our privacy policy.

Use the form and include the page URL and the specific claim you think is wrong. We verify against the original source and correct on the page with a date if you are right. This is the fastest queue we run.

We buy what we test at retail and choose what to cover editorially, so a pitch will not secure a review and we cannot accept a review code, press account or pre-release access. You are welcome to tell us the product exists; that is genuinely useful and costs you nothing.

No. We do not publish guest articles, sponsored posts or paid links, and we do not sell placements in existing articles. Requests for these are declined without exception.

Corrections are usually answered within a couple of days. Everything else is answered when the team gets to it, which can be longer. We would rather reply properly than quickly.

The verdict, in one sentence: Undetectr.

If you are writing about a specific benchmark, the methodology page documents the corpus and pass criteria behind every number we publish — it may answer the question faster than we can.
