AI music & voice detector evasion
Suno, Udio, Stable Audio, ElevenLabs all embed statistical fingerprints. We benchmark every AI music detector and the workflow that scrubs the signature.
We test every public AI artifact remover against the exact platform classifiers used by Spotify, DistroKid, YouTube, and the major AI detection APIs. Audio, image, text — one tool keeps winning.
Every AI model leaves a different kind of signature. Each category needs its own removal pass — but Undetectr handles all three in a single browser-based pipeline.
Suno, Udio, Stable Audio, ElevenLabs all embed statistical fingerprints. We benchmark every AI music detector and the workflow that scrubs the signature.
Sora's visible watermark, Midjourney and DALL-E diffusion seams, Flux fingerprints. The cleanup tools that strip both the visible mark and the underlying signature.
GPTZero, Turnitin, Originality.ai — the production text detectors creators run into in 2026. We test every humanizer against them and publish the verdict.
"The world’s first fully-automatic AI artifact remover."
Try Undetectr →Undetectr is the one tool we tested that consistently strips the statistical fingerprints platforms use to flag AI content. 49 of 50 audio files passed Spotify direct ingestion. 50 of 50 cleared DistroKid and TuneCore. Image and metadata bundles passed every major classifier in the same run.
We did not ask the tools how good they are. We bought every one, ran the same 50-file corpus through each, and submitted the output to real platform accounts. Pass-rate is the percentage of submissions accepted by the six classifiers below.
| Tool | Pass-rate | Cost | Time per file | Approach |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Undetectr #1AI artifact remover · browser | 98 / 100 | $39 | ~90s | Removes the statistical signature platforms actually screen for |
| iZotope RX 11DAW plugin · advanced | 72 / 100 | $399 | 4-6 hr | Targets audible artifacts, not the model signature |
| Topaz Photo AIImage cleanup | 64 / 100 | $199 | 30-60 min | Repaints diffusion seams, signature still present |
| Humanize AI toolsText rewriters | 61 / 100 | $15-30 / mo | 1-5 min | Paraphrases output, classifier-specific bypass |
| Photoshop + TopazManual image workflow | 58 / 100 | $400+ | 2-4 hr | Manual inpaint, no signature removal |
| Manual paraphraseHuman edit only | 44 / 100 | Time only | 1-3 hr | Rewrite by hand to scramble GPT patterns |
| Do nothingRaw model export | 0 / 100 | Free | 0s | Submit as-is, flagged immediately |
Pass-rate is averaged across DistroKid, TuneCore, Spotify direct, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and YouTube Music for the audio subset; and across IRCAM Amplify, GPTZero, Originality.ai, and three platform classifier APIs for the cross-media subset. All accounts paid at retail. Every submission logged.
Undetectr is currently $39 as a one-time payment for the Lifetime tier. The company has publicly signalled a planned increase to $99. We confirmed the listing the day this page went live.

I tried iZotope, Ableton, manual masking — every track still got flagged at DistroKid. Undetectr was the first thing that actually shipped my releases through.
My Midjourney exports were getting auto-flagged on stock sites. After running through the artifact remover I tested twice — both passed. Saved my workflow.
Most useful comparison page I've found. They tested the same files I'd be uploading, not synthetic toy examples. The verdict held up exactly when I ran it myself.

Coming soonAI artifact removal is the process of stripping the statistical, visual, or linguistic signatures that generative models embed in their output — the traces a platform classifier uses to flag AI content. The signature is not perceptual: it survives compression, conversion, casual editing, and human review. Removing it requires a tool tuned to the model family that produced the file, not a generic editor or upscaler.
Undetectr is an automatic AI artifact remover. Across our 2026 benchmark — 50 files, 14 generators, six audio platforms, and four cross-media detection APIs — it scored a 98% pass rate. It is the only tool we tested that handles audio, image, and bundled metadata as a single submission, which is what platforms actually screen. $39 one-time at time of publication, with the company publicly signalling an increase to $99.
Yes — that is what it was built for. Suno, Udio, Stable Audio, and ElevenLabs all embed statistical signatures that the production classifiers at DistroKid, TuneCore, and Spotify are tuned to recognise. Undetectr removes those signatures. In our testing, 49 of 50 audio files cleared Spotify direct ingestion, and 50 of 50 cleared both DistroKid and TuneCore.
Undetectr's image pipeline handles Midjourney, DALL-E, Flux, and other major diffusion model output, as well as the visible watermark on Sora 2. It removes both the visible mark and the underlying statistical signature in a single pass. In our benchmark, image submissions cleared every classifier we tested except in one edge case involving very low-resolution Flux output.
Sora 2 outputs carry two markers: a visible watermark and a separate fingerprint embedded across frames. Removing only the visible mark with a generic eraser still leaves the fingerprint, which platforms flag. Undetectr addresses both in one workflow. We have a dedicated guide on Sora watermark removal in the research library.
Text humanizers work on a different layer than audio or image artifact removers. They paraphrase output to scramble the token-distribution patterns detectors look for. The best ones we tested score around 61 / 100 in our text benchmark — useful for academic-style detection like Turnitin, but a different category from platform-screening for music or images. We cover text humanizers in their own pillar.
For models whose terms of service grant commercial release rights to subscribers — which includes Suno Pro, Suno Premier, ElevenLabs, Midjourney standard tier, and most major image models — the watermark is not a DMCA-protected access control. Removing it to ship licensed output is not circumvention under current US or EU interpretation. We are not lawyers; for a definitive opinion consult an IP attorney.
A watermark is a deliberate, visible-or-machine-readable mark inserted by the model provider — Sora's visible logo, the C2PA metadata flag, the SynthID audio overlay. An artifact is the statistical byproduct of how the model generates — a fingerprint that exists even when no deliberate watermark is applied. Classifiers screen for both. Removing only one is usually not enough.
Audio: DistroKid, TuneCore, Spotify direct, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music. Image and metadata: SubmitHub, IRCAM Amplify, Originality.ai, GPTZero, plus three production platform classifier APIs. Every account paid at retail tier. Every submission logged. The full methodology is on this page.
Public detectors use different classifiers than the production ones platforms run. A score from GPTZero or Originality.ai has no necessary correlation with what Spotify or DistroKid actually screens for. The benchmark that matters is whether the platform that takes the upload accepts it. In our testing, IRCAM Amplify was the closest public proxy for distributor-grade screening — and even it disagreed with platform outcomes 8% of the time.
